Ginger Valley Helpful Everyday Tips
The best time to plant an initial bed of perennials
Perennials can be planted anytime between April and September. When choosing your perennials, a good rule of thumb is the bigger the pot the better as the larger pot sizes (1+ gallon) in our showroom
have the more developed root structures. Once planted, we recommend using Root Stimulator to help aid in root development.
Create and maintain a thriving herb or vegetable garden
As a basic starting point for creating a thriving garden, we recommend that you decide to either base your new
venture either in the ground or in a planter. If you choose the ground method, you must make sure that you completely remove the grass area for which you will be planting. Leave no roots in
place as the grass can grow back and affect your garden. The soil after the grass is removed must be deep and rich, so you may need to add compost to clay or sand areas. Then plant your
selected herbs or vegetables and fertilize with Blooming and Rooting fertilizer.
